Davis to lead chamber
Last week's 57th annual Chamber of Commerce banquet ended with Janet Payton passing the chairman's gavel to William Davis who will head the chamber during the coming year. Dr. James O. Dorriety, former pastor of First Baptist Church, entertained the crowd with his memories of Blakely and tales of his experiences as a country boy who grew up to be a preacher.
