CHURCH NEWS Faith M.B. Church The pastor of Arms of Faith Missionary Baptist Church, Marion D. Jones, received her doctorial degree in divintity from Living Water Institute. She currently serves as a warrant officer in the U.S. Army and is the daughter of J.B. and Flossie Jones of Blakely. Chattahoochee River Association Chattahoochee River Association will host a book signing for Blessings and Bush Arbors: A History of the Chattahoochee River Baptist Association and Its Member Churches edited by Dr. Lawrence J. Hanks, associate professor at Indiana University, Saturday, Jan. 27, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.,at Lucy Hilton Maddox Memorial Library. Proceeds benefit the association. Harmony Baptist Harmony Baptist Church will host revival services Jan. 28 through Jan. 31 with Rev. Bruce Smith of Albany speaking. Everyone is welcome to attend. New Mount Nebo New Mount Nebo Missionary Baptist Church will have their annual Black History program Feb. 3 at 7:30 p.m. Church of God The Blakely Church of God will host a gospel sing Saturday, Jan. 27 at 7 p.m. The Greers of Blakely and the South Georgia Quartet of Warner Robins will perform.
