Dr. James O. Dorriety, "The Syrup Sopping Servant of Slocomb," humorist and former Blakely First Baptist pastor, will be guest speaker tomorrow night at the annual meeting of the Blakely- Early County Chamber of Commerce at 7 p.m. at the Early County High cafeteria.
The Early County High "Early Arrivals" will provide musical entertainment.
Dr. Dorriety has a unique ability to share his rich experiences with humor and inspiration. He was pastor of First Baptist Church from 1979 through 1985.
