At the invitation of officials at the Bainbridge College Early County Site, Early County High School counselors and principals met at the college with BCEC representatives to evaluate and enhance the college's outreach activities for high school students.

Local high school students have the opportunity to attend college classes and earn college credit while still in high school, and both groups want to build on that option for Early County students. During the Nov. 8 luncheon meeting, they discussed those options and how to help students take better advantage of them.

Attending the meeting from ECHS were counselors Linda Warren and Sylvia Adams; assistant principal Irene Bush and principal Jim Morrell. They met with admissions specialists Karie Spence and Tommy Hall; BCEC interim director Dr. Bob Coker; instructor Joan Simpson and student services professional Mycla Palmer.
