Bobby Philmon Bobby Philmon, 63, of Sylvester died Saturday Jan. 20, 2007, at his residence. Mr. Philmon was born in Early County, May 14, 1943, to the late Fletcher Brian Philmon and Alma Carter Philmon. He was of the Baptist faith and a retired member of the U.S. Army. Survivors include his wife Mary Frances Weaver Philmon; one son, Terry Philmon and wife Shelbie of Eden, Ga.; two daughters, Bobbie Boynton and husband Lester of Sylvester and Kimberly Coxwell of Putney, Ga.; three brothers, Charles Philmon and Cecil Philmon, both of Tampa, and Johnny Allen of Ft. Gaines; 15 grandchildren; and six great-grandchilren. Funeral services are today, Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2007, at 2 p.m. at the Chapel of Manry-Jordan- Hodges Funeral Home with Dr. Lawson and the Army Chaplain officiating. Interment will follow at Pine Lawn Cemetery. Pallbearers are members of the U.S. Army Honor Guard.
