Garland chosen for All-Star game

Reid Garland of Terrell Academy in Dawson was chosen to play in the GISA All-Star football game in Macon Dec. 9, 2006. Reid was chosen to play offensive guard. He played offensive guard and middle linebacker for Terrell Academy.
Garland was also selected for the GISA All-Region A South team and the GISA All State Team. He was selected by the Albany Herald for the 2006 All- Metro Team in the Sunday January 7 Albany Herald.
Reid is the son of Mallory and Greg Garland of Dawson and the grandson of Lucy and Ron Collins of Blakely.
