Jenkins earns doctorate
December 8, 2006, was a big day for Early County High School graduate Sandra Coleman Jenkins. Jenkins received her doctorate in education from Georgia Southern University that morning at 9 a.m.

Before the graduation exercises were over, Jenkins was escorted to East Georgia Regional Medical Center where she delivered her first child, Mason Alexander Jenkins, less than three hours later.
Jenkins is the daughter of Clattie C. Coleman and the late Wilmur Mosley, both of Blakely. She is married to Sam L. Jenkins and the couple resides in Hinesville, Ga.Jenkins is the current Director of Brewton-Parker College’s Liberty County campus.
