The Early County Literacy Task Force hosted a recognition ceremony Thursday, Oct. 18 for local GED graduates. Under the small built project category, John Dunnigan won first place for his tool tray and Clifton LeGrone won second place for his bird feeder. More ... Kolin Pyle, son of Kim and Pam Pyle of Blakely, has been selected as the FFA member of the week. As a freshman at Early County High School, Pyle has already competed in the tractor driving contest.
