      Matthew 5:9. "Blessed are the peacemakers ..." "Peacemaker" is actually a fairly common name. Colt gave it to a pistol it manufactured in 1873, the Army gave it to the B-36 bomber in 1946, and my sixth grade teacher gave it to his extra-large paddle in 1974.

      Rocky Ridge Baptist Rocky Ridge Baptist Church will have the third quarter sing at the old Jakin school lunchroom Saturday, Aug. 25 at 7 p.m. The featured singers will be the Parish Family from Bainbridge and the Rocky Ridge Quartet.
