England, Byce exchange vows

Whitney Michelle England and Jordan Lee Byce were married at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, April 7, 2007, at the John Oliver Michael House in Statham, Ga. The Rev. Hugh H. Morgan officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Terry of Athens and Mr. and Mrs. Steve England of Hull, Ga. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. James A. Sorrow of Franklin Springs, Ga., Mr. and Mrs. Richard England of Hull, Serena Williamson of Hull and Annie Mae Terry of Royston, Ga.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Francis Lee Byce Jr. of Greensboro, Ga. He is the grandson of Billy Joe Jordan of Blakely and the late Carolyn Jordan and Mr. and Mrs. Francis L. Byce Sr. of Greensboro.

Katie Milton Segars of Royston and Jessica Gambrell of Athens served as matrons of honor to the bride.

The groom's father was best man.

Bridesmaids were Brooke Byce of Greensboro, sister of the groom, Jessica Terry of Athens, sister of the bride, Aimee Grigsby of Athens, Ashley Nunn of Athens and Raley White of Bogart, Ga.

Groomsmen were Matt Patrick of Watkinsville, Cleve Gambrell of Athens, Daniel Rodewolt of Greensboro, Adam Nichols of Madison, Brett Marshall of Watkinsville and Russ Wilburn of Winder..

Junior bridesmaid and groomsman were Polly Terry, sister of the bride, of Athens and Walker Boswell of Greensboro.

The flower girl was Molly White of Bogart.

Ringbearers were Noah Scheuer of Bogart and Dane Boswell of Greensboro.

Ushers were Andy England of Hull and Anthony England of Colbert, brothers of the bride, and John Satterfield of Greensboro.

The bride wore a strapless, floor-length white gown made of Italian satin with a beaded and embroidered bodice and hem with a cathedral veil.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.

The bride is a graduate of Clarke Central High School and is currently pursuing her undergraduate degree. She is the youth program coordinator for Oconee County Parks and Recreation Department in Watkinsville.

The groom is a graduate of Greene County High School and the University of Georgia where he received his bachelor's degree in agri-business. He is currently pursing his master's degree from the University of Georgia. He is employed with Progressive Insurance as an insurance adjuster in Athens.

After the reception at the John Oliver Michael House, the couple left for a honeymoon trip to Italy.

The couple will reside in Watkinsville.
