ECHS TSA takes first place at regionals
      In celebration of National Engineers' Week in Southwest Georgia, Albany State University along with Georgia Space Grant Consortium and Georgia Section of the American Society of Agricultural Engineers, invited high school teachers and students to participate in the fifth annual Southwest Georgia Regional Model Bridge Building contest at Albany State University Feb. 24.

ECHS graduation tests planned for March 26-28
      All students who entered grade nine after July 1, 1991, must pass all parts of the Georgia High School Graduation tests in order to earn a high school diploma. The Georgia High School Graduation tests will be administered at Early County High School.

      Baptist College of Florida Kara M. Linker has been named to the president's list at the Baptist College of Florida in Graceville for the fall 2006 semester. The president's list honors students who maintain a 4.0 grade point average. Linker is a senior pursuing a degree in Christian counseling. Linker is a 2004 graduate of Early County High School and the daughter of Rev. and Mrs.

School board appreciation week Mar 12-16
      The Early County School System is joining in a statewide celebration this week to salute the efforts of the local board members. The week of March 12-16 has been proclaimed School Board Appreciation Week in Georgia. Early County board members are William Davis, chair, Phyllis Craft, vice chair, Alice Hutchins, Ronnie Ashley and James Cannon.
