Ethel H. Jones Ethel Hicks Jones, 78, of Blakely died Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2006, at Early Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Jones was born in Early County, Oct. 30, 1928, to the late Lee Hicks and Emma Lucile Dorman Hicks. She was a member of Blakely Jehovah’s Witness Kingdom Hall. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Mack Jones Jr. Survivors include one daughter, Sylvia Jones of Blakely; two sons, Kenneth Lee Jones of Blakely, and Butch Mitcham and wife Mildred of Blakely; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Graveside services were Thursday, Dec. 21, 2006, 10 a.m. at Blakely Cemetery with Steve Traugh officiating.
Manry-Jordan-Hodges was in charge of arrangements.
