Howard L. Lilly III Howard Logan Lilly III, 47, of Orlando, Fla., died Dec. 3, 2006, due to injuries from a tragic accident. Mr. Lilly was born Feb. 6, 1959, in Atlanta, the son of Howard Logan Lilly Jr. DDS and Daphner Collier Lilly. He attended the University of Central Florida, and spent most of his life in Orlando, owning and managing a successful orthodontic laboratory in his father’s orthodontic practice. He was a gifted mechanic, and had a passion for building and racing cars. He was an active member of the Quarter Midgets Association (QMA) and the United States Hot Rod Association (USHRA). Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Smith Lilly of Orlando; one son B.J. Lilly of Akron; and one sister Laura Lei Lilly of Seattle.
Funeral service were Sunday, Dec. 10, 2006, at 3:30 p.m., at Baldwin- Fairchild Ivanhoe Chapel.
