Hebrews 1:1-9 As time "marches on," new generations have a tendency to forget their history and the significance of their past. The battles that were fought to win the "liberties" that have become the "rights" of many people, have faded into the "misty history" for the individuals who see themselves as "modern" with no direct "links" with the conflicts that have been overcome. More ... I'd love to talk with the prophets, like Moses, Elijah, and Isaiah. I'd love to have been with Abraham when he met Melchizedek, or watched as Aaron robed himself and performed his duties on the Day of Atonement. I'd love to see the great kings, David and Solomon, seated on their throne. The prophets, priests, and kings of the Old Testament - how interesting it would be to live where they lived. More ... Keys are useful things when used correctly. They unlock doors or close them. Man holds the key to unlock or lock the door of opportunity for God to bestow salvation. God has endowed man with the power of choice but there are responsibilities that go along with that power, and grave dangers if that power is misused. More ... Arlington U.M.C.
