NOTICE OF HEARING
STATE OF GEORGIA
EARLY COUNTY

Notice to the public is hereby given that on December 21, 2018, at 9:00 a.m., in the Superior Court of Early County, at the courthouse in said county, a hearing will be held in the case of the State of Georgia v. Early County, on the petition to validate general obligation debt of Early County in a principal amount not to exceed $2,700,000 for the purpose of financing the acquisition, construction, and equipping of certain transportation projects in Early County, which purposes were authorized by the voters of Early County voting in an election held on May 22, 2018, on the question of whether or not to impose a one percent transportation sales and use tax for a period of time not to exceed five years for the purpose of financing transportation prljects of the County and the cities of Blakely, Arlington, Damascus and Jakin. The approval by the voters also constituted approval of the issuance of general obligation debt of Early County in the maximum principal amount of $2,700,000.

At said hearing all persons having a right to be heard with respect to said general obligation debt and the validation thereof an all other issues to be presented to the court may be heard.
